For our customers with a large amount of data that needs to be backed up initially, you can seed a drive with the initial backup set data. This can be shipped to us on a physical device containing the data and once this data has been loaded onto our servers, incremental backups will allow you to keep it up to date without an initial backup that is uploading for hours or days.
Secure method of transporting data. All data is encrypted using 256-bit encryption. The only person with access to the data is the original client that created the seed. No keys are ever transferred to us or stored on our systems.
We pay to ship the drive back to you.
We can guide and assist you through the seed load process to ensure the seed data is created properly and is promptly loaded into our cloud storage platform.
If you have access to faster network connection speeds than the client the seed load is coming from, we can provide SFTP login details that you can use to transfer the seed data to us so you can bypass the shipping process.
